Swedish Prefab Housing In Sweden, prefabrication techniques are the norm. Sizable portions of the houses built have been put together in the factory, and the standards for wiring and plumbing seem to be designed to make this easier, not more difficult as it can be here in North America. In a conversation with a friend who recently visited Sweden, he explained that, "...the majority of new construction is built like the above photo.
