Swedish Prefab Housing In Sweden, prefabrication techniques are the norm.  Sizable portions of the houses built have been put together in the factory, and the standards for wiring and plumbing seem to be designed to make this easier, not more difficult as it can be here in North America.  In a conversation with a friend who recently visited Sweden, he explained that, "...the majority of new construction is built like the above photo.  I would call the house panelized - but it is 'way way panelized' and is a total package. The houses come on trucks from rural places in Sweden. The windows are in, the insulation, wiring, wallboard where possible - every thing - the pipes, the wiring systems, the doors, stairs ... everything has been engineered and rationalized to reduce labor, find energy and material economy and work with the method of construction where stuff is preassembled as much as possible inside a building and then "erected" or instal...

Evolution Tower in Moscow

The Evolution Tower in Moscow, Russia, is a 55-story office building with a height of 837 ft and a total area of 1,820,000 sq ft.   The tower, with its futuristic DNA-like shape, was designed by British architect Tony Kettle in collaboration with University of Edinburgh’s Professor of Art Karen Forbes.   Construction of the tower began in 2011 and was completed in late 2014.
